An area of extensive experience is Overseas and Immigration Medicine. Panel Doctors Issues, Health Issues as they relate to travelling outside Nigeria Borders, Travel Preventive Medical Issues against things like Malaria, Travel Diarrhoea, Travel Sickness (Nausea & Vomiting), Pre-existing Health Problems as they relate to travelling, like after Heart Attack, Pregnancy and Travelling, Bites and Stings, Immigration Documentation Requirements, Immunization as it relates to Travel Issues etc.

Upper North Junction Hospital also conducts Medical Assessments and Examinations for those who are preparing to obtain visa to travel to overseas. Please note that this hospital does NOT issue visa, but it will carry out assessments for those who have been given a referral letter to come for such examinations.

Overseas Travel

The following payment structure is exclusively for those who are coming to have Medical Examination in preparation for travelling overseas. The fees are NOT for normal Hospital consultations. Please Note: Payment should be made in Nigeria Naira by Transfer, at least a day before the appointment day for the Immigration Health Assessments.

Cost of Examinations/tests:-

<2yrs old N50,000.

2-10yrs old N80,000.

11-14yrs old N60,000.

=/> 15yrs old N80,000.

WHAT TO DO AND/OR BRING ALONG ON THE APPOINTMENT DAY:-

1. Please make sure that you speak to the staff of the Hospital a day before appointment day to confirm that the appointment is holding. Please call +234(0)9157069119 OR +234(0)8059238243.

2. Ensure that you eat before coming on the appointment date.

3. If you are on any medication, ensure that you take your medicine accordingly, and bring it along while coming.

4. Bring your Original International Passport.

5. Bring Records and/or Certificates of all your Vaccinations.

6. Bring Print out of Proof of Payment for the Immigration Medical Assessments

7. Bring Printed eMedical Referral Letter for the appointment. **Even if you already have another type of referral letter, please go back to the Home Affairs website or to your agent to ask for eMedical Referral Letter. The correct letter has eMedical Referral Letter written on the top left hand corner, and HAP ID is written on the bottom center of the front page.

8. Bring Face Mask.

9. Bring A Smart Phone with Internet to fill online Form.

10. Applicant who is below 18yrs of age should come with a Parent or Guardian. Guardian should come with letter of authorization from applicant’s Parents as well as valid International Passport or any other Valid ID of her/his own.
